February, 2008

Happy whatever!

I can't say I'm totally into February — I never really have been. All the stores and decorations scream Valentine's day and "poor" kids like me could never keep up with the expectations that the jewelry stores endorse. Still, I do my best, what else can you do? If you are a guy that is frustrated by what Hallmark insists is your big responsibility, I'm here for you, man! Now Groundhog day — THAT'S a day I can get into!

On the comic front, I've gotten some good ideas from Mitch, Steven, Jeff and Rachel — thanks guys! Some of them I've posted and tagged on my Facebook page.

New Comics:
10 new comics this month. 6 are here and 4 more are on the site. If any of the panels on the right are hard to read, click on the picture to see it full size.

Feedback:
Keep your suggestions coming. Do you have a funny story that you would like to see in print? Send 'em in!

Links of the month:
I ran across a couple really cool interactive flash websites that you may have seen already, but they are worth mentioning for those who haven't.

The first is a very simple, but extremely cool "physics" game. (Teachers take note) All you do is draw a line or a simple shape on the screen and watch it fall. The real fun comes in trying to make things balance with out falling, like building a house of cards. Be warned, it is more addicting the more you play!

Next is another simple concept. It is a blank canvas ready for your paint splatterings. Ever looked at a Jackson Pollack painting and said "I could do that!"? Well now it's time for you to step up and give it a try. There's not much to explain, in fact, I'll just let you figure it out for yourself.

Do you have any good links that you think I should feature? Drop me a line.

Have a great month!
