March, 2008
Hi there!
Easter is almost here, and I'm told it could only come one day earlier on the calendar. The ironic thing for me is that the more involved a person is in their church, the harder it is to appreciate the major days like Easter and Christmas. In our church, there is just a lot going on that I am involved with. The upside is that I get to see a lot of people (mostly college students) that are away the rest of the year. I hope you have a great weekend and find your own way to make it meaningful
About a week ago, I went to a youth retreat and got some good ideas for comics (group seven's going to heaven! - inside joke). Maybe you have some good camp stories of your own. If so, drop me a line.
New Comics: Several new comics this month. 6 are here and more are on the site. If any of the panels on the right are hard to read, click on the picture to see it full size.

Keep your suggestions coming. Do you have a funny story that you would like to see in print? Send 'em in!
Links of the month:
The links this month are cat related. Dog lovers, rest assured, these are not cute pictures of kittens with titles like "I eated your cake".
If you have a cat, you will really appreciate this cartoon. If you are not a cat person, you will still like it I think. It's by Simon Tofield, and called "Simon's Cat". watch Cat-Man-Do and Let Me In! on You tube.
Next is a site that pokes fun at the icon of cat cartoons, Garfield. This strip has a huge following, and whether cartoonists appreciate the humor or not, we all would love it's success. This parody simply takes Garfield out of the strip and leaves a very disturbed Jon, who makes jokes to himself, and gives long, almost creepy pauses. You might have to have my sense of humor to like Garfield minus Garfield.
Do you have any good links that you think I should feature? Drop me a line.
Have a great month!
